Happy Thanksgiving Message From Elexana LLC

Despite so much adversity and challenge, all of us have so much to be grateful for and humbled. This year, we have all been through so much. Many have suffered illness, and we have all had to say goodbye to someone very dear to us.

Life is so brief and fleeting, but also so precious. May you all enjoy happy moments with your loved ones this holiday season.

And, please, remember that joyful grace and genuine happiness come from doing good deeds for others and extending love and kindness to everyone, including yourself. During this holiday season, I hope everyone can make amends, rise above prejudices and envy, experience the power of forgiveness, and find peace.

We will be closed Wednesday 11/25, Thursday, 11/26, and Friday, 11/27 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Stay safe and be well.

Elexana LLC Moves to Westchester, NY

With COVID-19 cases on the rise yet again in New York City, we have determined to relinquish our Manhattan administrative address. All of us at Elexana will continue to work from our homes with clients either by email, phone, or Zoom. We will also use Zoom for conferences with each of the engineering firms currently engaged.

“Because of isolated cases, our daughter’s school has frequent closings, local restaurants are closing, and more of our friends and neighbors have contracted Covid. I don’t see this pandemic slowing until we have a national strategy,” said James Finn. “We all need to wear personal protective equipment for ourselves and in consideration of others.”

Jim continued, “Recently, I was in Smyrna, Tennessee, on a large project involving three corporations. Everyone at the facility was mandated to wear masks, but the number of people not wearing masks or maintaining social distancing outside of work was surprising. None of the front desk staff at my hotel wore masks. I even saw six police at a Cracker Barrel restaurant checkout line not wearing masks. By New York State mandate, I quarantined for two weeks after arriving at Laguardia. Fortunately, my family and I have been well. We wear our masks as we exit our front door.”

Our James Finn Contributes to Amazon's #1 Best Seller: EMF Detox Workbook

EMF Detox Workbook_.jpg

The EMF Detox Workbook, by Sophia Ruan Gushee, is a recent Amazon paperback release that has risen to the top of the Amazon charts. In 2018, Sophia contracted James Finn (Jim) to provide residential consulting services for her family’s home in Manhattan.

Since then, Jim and Sophia have become friends who share a common mission to help others make their homes healthier and safer. This book springs from Sophia’s awareness of the effects that all toxins can have on our well-being and consultations she had had with Jim over the past couple of years.

Jim writes:

"Often, simple, cost-free, mindful changes to our daily habits and how we use our electrical devices can produce many noticeable benefits. If you follow the steps of Sophia Ruan Gushée's EMF Detox Workbook, with a calm and persistent plan, you may notice results within weeks, if not sooner."

Amazon has come a long way since forming as an online used book sale company. Now, it is one of the wealthiest and powerful corporations in the world. Elexana LLC will work towards achieving the same excellent customer service that made Amazon what it is today.

We wish to thank our management team for making this auspicious union possible. As Elexana continues to expand its services we work hard to retain our small company feeling of caring for each other as family.

COVID-19 Update: 8/4/2020

Elexana-pandemic.jpeg

Elexana will continue to work from home and conduct our on-site work for select services only. We continue to respect the civil procedure to wear personal protective equipment: masks, shoe covers, and gloves for all on-site work.

Is this the new normal? We certainly hope not, but in the near-term, clients can still attain limited testing and meet their remediation and consultation goals.

Our online remote testing/ zoom consultations have proven successful where we work with our clients one-to-one achieving excellent results.

Elexana LLC's Manhattan Office to Remain Closed for the Foreseeable Future

Manhattan-office.jpeg

Our Manhattan office will remain closed for the foreseeable future as we all work from our respective home offices. The Westchester office will be open M-F from 9-5, but our office staff will continue to work remotely.

To our surprise, we have made the adjustment quite seamlessly and have been surprised by the lack of any loss to productivity. This is a true testimony to individual effort and dedication.

As we move into a “new normal” and fears of a “second wave” of the virus leave all of us with a sense of uncertainty, we will consider transitioning the closing of our Manhattan office permanently. Elexana LLC lists our Westchester phone number on the elexana.com website to encourage our clients to make this transition with us. (914) 342-3363

If you dial our 212 or toll-free numbers, they will continue to forward to the 914 number. The silver lining here is that we have found that there is only a slight lag time to serving our Manhattan clients with their EMI emergencies, and our cost of operations is reduced.

Our clients have been happy that we are willing to show up at all. This reflects the kind of loyalty our retained clients have shown us and what we reciprocally provide for our clients.

Elexana LLC: New Twitter Handle @ElexanaLLC

twitter logo.png

We were first called EMF Consultants, New York City’s original EMF Testing Company. So, for years, we had our twitter account using that handle. @EMFconsultants

Thanks to the Goddess of Social Media @JenniferMirsky, we now have a new Twitter handle:

@ElexanaLLC

Just using Elexana as a handle was already taken. Apparently, Elexana is a popular name in Ukraine. Who would have ever thunk it, except for perhaps a Ukrainian or a Russian?

Please follow us and have a grand day!

Elexana Returns to Work

Now that we are in Phase One of the loosening of the New York State PAUSE Order, Elexana is officially back to work for select services. Our Manhattan location will continue to be closed until further notice, while we all work remotely from our homes.

Elexana will provide necessary services for corporations, institutions, and governments. In fact, Elexana has recently provided EMI work for an international pharmaceutical corporation (an NDA client.) As pharmaceutical companies ramp up services to fight this virus, all efforts are being made by everyone to contribute.

Elexana-back-to-work.jpeg

Will we ever greet each other with a handshake, again? Who knows, perhaps the elbow tap will be the new greeting? Or, perhaps we will all be bowing in reverence, as do our Japanese friends?

However we greet each other doesn’t really matter as long as we can all be together again and working.

Yes, it did feel great to get out last week working to solve another EMI problem.

New York State PAUSE Observation

Elexana continues to observe New York State’s PAUSE Order. All On-site EMF Residential and Commercial EMI Services are postponed until the PAUSE order is lifted, unless the request for an EMI service is deemed necessary and essential for the general public’s welfare.

We will continue our phone consultations, third-party report reviews, EMF study reviews, and remote Zoom and FaceTime testing services.
