“The histories of art and science deliver consistent proof that the process-oriented and determined artist mind will often creatively problem-solve where the institutionally learned and conventionally programmed mind stumbles. For those too few to dare, an illuminating intuitive knowledge wells up, springing from the humility to embrace an enduring impulse to return and revisit general and foundational principles with questions that beg for undisclosed and deeper subtleties of essence and truth, all resulting from tenacious investigation and verification. When fundamental laws or rules no longer serve your solution, you may be on the precipice of something seemingly new that has always existed in physical science since the beginning and end of time. Nevertheless, with grace and intelligence, holds the courage to respect and regard the known and then journey on boldly to unexplored realms with reverence and wonder.”

Background
I am the EMI consultant for some of the world's most prestigious engineering firms, international robotics and logistics corporations, medical centers, and pharmaceutical companies. I have solved EMI issues that teams of Chinese, European, and American electrical and biomedical engineers had been stymied by and haunted by for years.
Although I’ve studied with several brilliant engineers and master electricians in both the classroom and in on-the-job learning, the aggregate of my knowledge of electromagnetic interference solving comes from my understanding of the laws of physics, my own EMI work experiences, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, tireless tenacity, and boundless creativity. There are certain testing methods and techniques that I had to invent. Much of what I’ve learned about EMI solving is not taught in any engineering school. It is knowledge attained from an eclectic disciplined search with on-the-job probative troubleshooting, tenacity, and creativity. Anyone who has hired me or knows me can attest to this tireless reserve of perseverance, determination, creativity, and inspiration.
My knowledge and experience in EMI troubleshooting began in 1990, thirty-plus years ago, from solving electromagnetic interference in my recording studio in Manhattan, NY. Until recently, engineering schools did not teach students much about how electromagnetic interference affects electronic equipment. None, to this day, mentions how it can affect human and animal wellness.
If you want a school for learning EMI Troubleshooting, call it The School of Hard Knox. Every day, my knowledge is expanded by "diving down rabbit holes" that most engineers would never think to explore. I'm involved in a perpetual learning journey: studying research papers and manuals, learning from engineering and physics textbooks, running tests and experiments in the lab, and most importantly, learning from experience solving EMI issues. Each job presents a problem related to every previous one, but every job is unique. Someday, I hope to meet someone in this field who thinks they may know more than me. It would be nice to meet them.
I am a certified Building Biology® Institute Professional Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist, ANSI/NFPA® 70E certified in grounding and bonding testing, and certified in natural medicine. Some of America's top electrical engineers and electricians helped shape my training in the proper testing techniques and methodologies for assessing electromagnetic fields. I have developed these learned standards to new heights. Previous teachers include engineers John Olobri, George Vlaschos, Larry Gust, Michael Neuert, Sonia Hoglander, Mitchell Marchand, and master electricians Ivan Butkovic, Joseph Caruso, and William Holland. In addition, I studied EMF Health, EMF Testing/Measurement, and EMF Remediation via the EMF Center in Santa Rosa, California, and at the Building Biology® Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Although the scientific method is essential for solving complex electromagnetic interference issues, EMI work is almost more an art than a science. It requires an active, creative response. Ergo, my years embracing creativity as a professional improvising musician and composer who wrote hundreds of musical pieces, three string quartets. These wonderful experiences have helped sow the seeds of the success I enjoy today.
My journey in this work began when my dad bought me my first book, Applied Electricity. He said, “Everyone needs to understand electricity.” I think he was right. My dad used electronic measuring tools for auto repairs. I was his helper and “gopher.” (Go for this, go for that!)
While in high school, I received scholarships in mathematics and physics but chose a music career. I put myself through college by playing the sax professionally and became an award-winning jazz musician. While owning and operating a small recording studio in Manhattan, I came to learn no one in New York City understood electromagnetic interference well enough to fix my equipment's reoccurring EMI issues.
Back in the early 1990s, the internet was still new. There was no YouTube or much on the topic of EMI information online. So, I began my first sojourn into troubleshooting EMI.
Unfortunately, electrical engineers learn little about electromagnetism in school, and electricians learn even less about the topic. Students of physics know more about electromagnetism than any engineer or electrician.
In 2005, our daughter was born, and I retired from music. While writing financial trading algorithms and burning the candle at both ends trading commodity futures on the US and European markets, I became very ill. My doctors failed me, so I decided to take control of my health management.
During the quest to understand why the human body becomes ill, I discovered that we are genuinely electrical beings. I also learned that the established medical profession is years, possibly decades, behind today’s medical visionaries. I became interested in molecular biophysics and the effects of electromagnetism on the human body.
With my refreshed EMI skills, grasp on natural and Chinese medicine, and human anatomy, I troubleshot the root cause of my insomnia and illness. I developed the concept of Reverse-Electroporation, which quickly healed my sleep issues and helped over 300 NYC insomniacs heal themselves.
I developed a technique called Reverse-EGC Ground Rod System Testing where I can check the state of a system ground of a house or even a penthouse apartment from any wall outlet receptacle. I recently invented the MORSSIM I™ (Mobile-Robotic-Signal-Simulator) that can monitor and record how any robot sends and receives signals. I built the B-Spot Induction Tesla System™, BITS™. It presents a unique videography measurement system delivering much more accurate diagnostic information than any hand-held gauss meter and is excellent for seating Magnetic Resonance Imagers, MRI, TEM, SEM, Electron Scanners, Industrial Metal Detectors, Material Applications, Synthetics and Chemical Research, and more. I termed the phrase Artificial Intelligence Compatibility™ after we solved EMI hindering delivery systems robotics, the ADAS autonomous vehicle guidance system, and more. I developed a new application that adds to the effectiveness of our EMI/EMF remediation work. We call it the Galileo Protocol™. It is a method for measuring your equipment casing and connecting cables or even your workforce for potential vulnerability to proximal electromagnetic fields.
It has been a long 20+ years of self-study learning to troubleshoot EMI issues. In the '90s, back in my music studio, the last thing that I would have thought I would be doing in the future is what I am now doing today; and I couldn't be more thrilled. No two days are the same, and I am in a continuous state of learning and wonder. I genuinely believe that I have helped save lives. I know I have saved a few accounts, business relationships, and careers.
My boundless creativity, personal journey, and unique process have made me an exceptional EMI problem-solver. I am encouraged and enthusiastic about my collaborative work with engineers/EMRS Ryan Blaser and Mitch Marchand and look forward to continuing adventures solving electromagnetic interference problems worldwide.
