Pacemaker EMI/EMC Compliance Testing in the Workplace

We test to EMI/EMC compliance standards in the workplace with strict report procedures for pacemakers, ICDs, defibrillators, and other medical equipment by:

  • Abbott Technologies

  • Boston Scientific

  • Medtronic

  • Smiths Medical

We use the highest standard of instruments, ISO 17025 certified-calibrated, to test the entire EMF spectrum from DC to 60 GHz.

Insist on ISO 17025 certified-calibrated instruments for all high-risk measurements, accurate assessments, replicable studies, and verifiable reports.

EMI/EMC/EMF Testing is essential when you need to know for sure if your workplace is safe for employees’ pacemakers and other medical implants so that they function correctly. Testing requires utmost care and attention.

The first step is to call upon someone knowledgeable of the proper measuring techniques and procedures with the necessary precision test equipment. Suppose there is a problem area at the facility where elevated levels of EMF radiation may pose a risk. In that case, you certainly want someone who can help you form a plan to remediate that is effective and cost-effective.

Our James Finn, a Certified Professional EMRS, is approved by Boston Scientific to measure all Boston Scientific medical devices in the workplace. He has experience testing for Abbott, Medtronic, and Smiths Medical devices. In addition, James Finn is OSHA certified for General Industry and HIPAA Compliant, so your employee’s privacy is ensured.

EMC Pre-Compliance Test Lab Coming Soon!

We have begun building our Pre-Compliance Test Lab due to suggestions and requests from clients. Currently, our customers fly us to their headquarters and home offices to help them pass EMC compliance.

We will still offer these unique and essential services. Still, soon clients will be able to use USPS/UPS/FedEx to send their new products under development to our home office lab rather than paying the cost of flying us to their facilities. We are hoping that by the end of Spring, the lab will be up and running.

What would distinguish us from a typical EMC Test House is pointing out where your device is failing. At a fraction of the cost of sending your equipment to an expensive EMC Testing House over and over again until you’d pass, we can get you there faster.

Soon you can send us your circuit boards and small devices that are under development for CISPR, IEC/EN-61000, and FCC testing.
