Scope of Services, Licensing, and Professional Practice

Elexana LLC is an independent, privately owned company that provides scientific measurement, electromagnetic analysis, modeling, diagnostics, and advisory consulting related to electromagnetic fields (EMF), electromagnetic interference (EMI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

Elexana LLC does not perform electrical contracting, construction, installation, wiring, or physical modification of electrical systems, nor does it assume authority over such work. Elexana does not design electrical systems for construction, stamp engineering drawings, or provide services requiring Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Under U.S. law, EMF/EMI testing and analysis are not licensed activities, and no state issues a license for “EMF testing.” Measurement, diagnostics, modeling, and standards-based advisory services fall outside regulated engineering practice unless they involve construction authority or stamped design, which Elexana does not provide.

Elexana LLC does not sell EMF mitigation products, does not receive commissions from product manufacturers, and does not condition testing outcomes on the purchase of any product or service. All testing is performed using calibrated instrumentation traceable to national and international standards, and findings are reported independently.

Elexana’s personnel include engineers, scientists, and technical specialists with formal education and professional experience in electromagnetic systems, measurement science, and applied physics. The use of the term “engineer” reflects professional function and expertise; licensure is required only for regulated engineering practice, which Elexana does not offer.

Occasionally, inaccurate claims appear online asserting that EMF testing requires licensing, that scientific consultants must hold PE licensure, or that advisory firms performing electromagnetic measurements are engaging in regulated electrical work. These claims are inconsistent with U.S. statutes, FCC guidance, and established industry practice.

Elexana LLC operates in accordance with applicable federal and state law, published technical standards (including FCC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and ISO frameworks), and clearly defined professional scope boundaries.
